The food was really good! First time there. The fried rice was really good and would compete against other top Japanese food places. We all enjoyed our food. I got the garlic miso and it was a lot of food. The kids had a make your own ramen and they could have definitely split one as there is no kid menu. We would return.

The service was excellent. This was my first time going to this Japanese Restaurant. Food was cooked very hot and delicious. I have been in the area more than ten years but never noticed this restaurant.

We decided to try it because it is so close to home and we love Ramen. We were hoping it was good and it was delicious. They have friendly service and our ramen was served quickly. I had the thin noodles, spicy miso base, and chicken as my protein. I ordered a few other tasty toppings. My husband ordered the roasted garlic base and it was also yummy. I would highly recommend this place.

This was a neat place, we went for lunch and there was a small group of other customers in there eating. The Ramen was really good and savory, everything you'd expect. I'd definitely go back for lunch!

This place has fulfilled every aspect of my life. Through this spiritual journey, I realized that I used to give 5 stars to business that had good service, food, and ambiance, but I've never felt so certain about THESE 5 stars. I feel like a new Yelper, with so much to learn and explore. My partner got a custom ramen with udon, chicken, and shrimp tempura on spicy miso soup, and she was as speechless as I was. I got the house ramen, mixing my favorite toppings into one beautiful bowl. We stayed silent the entire meal, only nodding our heads to each other in unison. THAT is how good it was. I have never felt to harminous to the amazing broth served. The creamy mixture with chili paste added a deeper level of union that was amazing to taste. Through the beautiful journey of eating this ramen, the service was awesome! As busy as the restaurant was, our mate was there ready for anything we need. We sat in our favorite spot...under the picture of the meme of the lady yelling at the white cat. The expansive art and ambience of the restaurant has a wholly Japanese bar-like vibe. Next time, I'll sit at the bar and see if it's a similar experience. Again, this eye-opening experience truly deserves a try, especially on a cold, rainy night.

They expanded the place and there new flavors are great. I hate the make your own ramen with the spicspicy miso base it was so delicious and not overly salty like most ramen spots around. Really great service

Was in the mood for Ramen so looked up in Yelp and found Tsuchiya Ramen. Located on Palm and Bullard. We ordered the house Ramen build your own and fried rice and some appetizers. The gyoza, shrimp tempura and edamame. The Ramen broth was so good.. $87 for four people. It was a little pricy for noodles $15 for the house but it did taste good. Service was excellent. And I like the cozy small restaurant.

We thought Ramen sounded good on this rainy day and it was on the way home so we stopped in . We were greeted and seated right away. The decor is really cool , the main entrance is normal booth seating and the second room looks like a traditional Japanese Ramen restaurant in Japan. It has a lot of Japanese car and drift memorabilia. Tsuchiya is known for as the father of drifting or "Drift King". There is even a Watanabe wheel on display. We ordered the House Ramen which has bone broth , bamboo , green onions, chashu and thin noodles. The ramen was delicious. We also ordered the Karage (fried chicken) it was fried but not greasy . The batter was delicious and the dipping sauce made it taste even better. We will definitely be back.

Came to Tsuchiya because it came up on my Yelp feed. Colder weather + new (to me) ramen spot? I'm there! My husband and I were seated quickly on a Saturday at 6:30pm, and the one worker on the floor was working hard to manage dine-in customers and to-go orders. Service was on the slow side, but not a deal breaker for us. The ramen can be build your own, or house ramen which comes with numerous of toppings and choice of broth. My husband went with build your own so that he could try the beef brisket and fried tofu with garlic oil broth. I went with the house ramen with green chili butter, as that's something unique that I haven't tried before. House ramen was bomb! Green chili butter gave a nice organic and peppery spice, as opposed to my usual choice at other ramen joints (tan tan) which has upfront, in your face spice. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and the chashu was so tender and delicious. My husband preferred my toppings, with the beef not being as fatty/tender and the tofu not offering much flavor. However, the tofu improved once soaked into broth. Each ramen bowl will cost around $16 each, which is a little steep. House ramen is definitely the way to go for value and opportunity to try a little of everything.
